The outgoing Director General for Structural Reform Support of the European Commission Mario Nava held a series of contacts in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus on Thursday.
Nava’s contacts focused on bilateral relations between the EU Commission and the Turkish Cypriot side.
As part of his contacts in the TRNC, Director General for Structural Reform Support of the European Commission Mario Nava met with President Ersin Tatar’s Special Representative Güneş Onar on Thursday.
According to a press statement, the two discussed the bilateral relations with the European Commission, the ongoing work on bilateral cooperation and the current situation regarding the Cyprus issue.
During the meeting, Güneş Onar also wished Nava, who will leave his current post as of June 1, good luck in his new position.
