The 2024-2025 academic year began this morning (Monday) at primary and secondary schools around the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).
Thousands of students and teachers began classes following three months of summer vacation.
Approximately 28 thousand students in 128 schools affiliated to the Primary Education Department of the Ministry of National Education, approximately 30 thousand middle and high school students studying in 48 schools affiliated to the General Secondary Education Department, approximately 4 thousand students studying in 13 schools affiliated to the Vocational Technical Education Department and approximately 450 students studying at the Taner Akcan Apprenticeship and Adult Education Centre returned to class this morning.
The second semester, which will start on February 17, will come to an end on June 16 with the issuance of report cards and completion certificates.
