A major project has been launched to improve the drinking water infrastructure in the Mesarya region, with additional water to be supplied from the Akdoğan Main Reservoir to the Vadili Main Reservoir.
A new project in Mesarya aims to tackle chronic water shortages and improve residents’ quality of life.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, the project foresees the laying of 8 kilometres of HDPE pipelines with a diameter of 160 millimetres, with the necessary pipes already delivered to Mesarya Municipality.
Installation work is expected to begin in the coming weeks.
The project is expected to significantly ease chronic water shortages and improve the quality of life for local residents.
Jointly carried out by the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources and Mesarya Municipality, the initiative will provide healthier, more reliable, and uninterrupted access to drinking water.
Agriculture and Natural Resources Minister Hüseyin Çavuş stressed the importance of the project for the local population, saying the government’s goal is to deliver sustainable and high-quality water in cooperation with municipalities.
Mesarya Mayor Ahmet Latif added that once completed, the project will bring major relief to the water supply of Akdoğan, Vadili, and other nearby communities.
