The Meteorology Department’s October, 8 forecast shows that a low pressure system will combine with a warm and humid air mass to affect the region.
Air temperatures are expected to be 3 to 4 degrees above seasonal norms and winds are expected to blow from the north and west at moderate strength.
The weather will generally be clear and less cloudy, and temperatures in the interior may vary between 27 and 33 degrees, while temperatures in Nicosia in particular may hover around 33 degrees.
