
Prime Minister Ünal Üstel has travelled to Azerbaijan to hold a series of high-level meetings and to attend an international conference, with cooperation between the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and Azerbaijan at the forefront of the visit.
As part of his programme, Prime Minister Ünal Üstel will attend the Turkic World Trade Fair in Baku and hold meetings with senior Azerbaijani officials. He is also scheduled to deliver a speech representing the TRNC at the international conference titled “In a Multipolar World: Geopolitical Directions and Global Challenges”, which will take place in the city of Shusha.
During the visit, Prime Minister Üstel is set to meet with Azerbaijan’s Ministers of Transport, Labour, and Tourism.
These talks will focus on deepening cooperation between the TRNC and Azerbaijan in the fields of transportation, tourism, social security, and trade.
The visit will also include political consultations with the New Azerbaijan Party, as part of the ongoing inter-party cooperation process with the TRNC’s National Unity Party. Prime Minister Üstel is expected to meet with the Deputy Chair of the New Azerbaijan Party to discuss the advancement of this partnership. brt
