Prime Minister Ünal Üstel took part on a live special program on BRT on Wednesday morning where he evaluated certain topics on the agenda.
Prime Minister Ünal Üstel, who was a guest on BRT’s special broadcast, spoke about the National Unity Party (UBP) congress to be held on September 21.
“They gave us the party leadership and the position of prime minister as if we had some sort of special expertise” Üstel said and he added that whatever the members decide at the congress will be the outcome.
Reminding that they had strengthened municipalities in every way with the municipal reform and that no municipality is currently facing financial difficulties, he stated that they will continue with both the ruling and stability.
Noting that they had laid the foundations for the cloverleaf interchange for the Lefkoşa ring road, the Premier said that the interchange will be completed after April 2025.
Explaining that the energy problems faced today were due to unstable governments in the past, Üstel stressed that they were working hard to resolve these issues fundamentally.BRT
