Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) is preparing for TEKNOFEST.
President Ersin Tatar made an on-site inspection and received information about the Aviation, Space and Technology Festival “TEKNOFEST”, which will be held at the Ercan Airport Old Terminal Building between May 1-4 under the auspices of the Presidency.
Speaking during the visit the President expressed the hope that the event will serve as a source of inspiration and motivation for the Turkish Cypriots and will contribute greatly to the country’s promotion.
He thanked Selçuk Bayraktar, Chairman of the Board of Directors, of the Board of Trustees of T3 Foundation for allowing the organization to be held in the TRNC and stated that the developments in the national defense industry in Türkiye will contribute to its success in the new century.
He stressed the importance of technological advancements in the air and sea fields due to the geopolitical and geostrategic developments in the Eastern Mediterranean.
President Tatar emphasized the creativity and innovative capabilities of Turkish youth and highlighted the participation of numerous projects from both Türkiye and different countries in TEKNOFEST.
He expressed hope that the event would encourage young people and foster progress in technology, digitalization, and software activities. The President also expressed his belief that TEKNOFEST would attract technology and software companies to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, which will benefit the economy, employment, and development of the country.brt
