President Ersin Tatar noted that the strong ties established with Türkiye will carry the Turkish Cypriot people into the future.
President Tatar said, “Our status in the Eastern Mediterranean has increased. It is our national duty to make efforts to develop the education, agriculture, tourism and services sectors. In this context, cooperation is important for strengthening the economy.”
President Ersin Tatar on Monday received business people from Sakarya- Adapazarı region of Türkiye.
Speaking during the visit President Tatar expressed the hope that the relations between the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and Türkiye will be further strengthened.
Also touched upon the struggles of the Turkish Cypriot people in the past, President Tatar underlined that the independent Turkish state was established with the support of Türkiye.
He noted that the strong ties established with Türkiye will carry the Turkish Cypriot people into the future.brt
