As the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) prepares to celebrate the 41st anniversary of its founding on November 15, Republic Day events will kick off tomorrow with the “41st Republic Parade” in Lefkoşa.
Organized by the Ministry of National Education, the parade will mark the start of the Republic Day celebrations as it reaches the Presidential Palace.
The “41st Republic Parade,” set to take place in Lefkoşa, will see the participation of students from local schools and universities, who will carry 100-meter-long TRNC and Türkiye flags.
The parade will start at 10:00 a.m. on November 13 from the Ministry of National Education, passing through Girne Gate, and the Courthouses before concluding at the Presidential Palace.
Along the route, there will be traditional folk dances, gymnastics, and taekwondo performances.
Once the parade reaches the Presidential Palace, the Republic Day celebrations will officially begin.
President Ersin Tatar, Minister of National Education Nazım Çavuşoğlu, and students will deliver speeches to honour the day’s significance.
Meanwhile, the Turkish Air Force’s acrobatic team, SOLOTÜRK, will perform an air show over Girne as part of the Republic Day celebrations.
