Lapta-Alsancak-Çamlıbel (LAÇ) Mayor Fırat Ataser provided information about the roadworks on his social media account. Ataser stated, “These works, which will take place at a total of four points, will be somewhat challenging, but in the end, it will be worthwhile.”
Ataser’s statement is as follows:
“We are correcting the mistakes made in the past along with the continuation of the bypass road. One of the most important issues was that the continuation of the streams crossing the road was through pipes, which were insufficient during heavy rain and led to flooding. With the new work, we are removing the pipes and replacing them with varying types of reinforced concrete box culverts. The work at a total of four points will be somewhat challenging, but in the end, it will be worthwhile.”
