Scientists want to fly endangered animals to the moon… kind of!

Many specialists have spent years figuring out how to best protect endangered animals and plants.

Now, a group of scientists has devised an extraordinary scheme to preserve them from extinction.

They plan to place endangered animals on the moon.

Researchers believe that portions of the Moon are frigid enough to safely preserve frozen cells from vulnerable species, which is not conceivable on Earth.
What do scientists want to do?
According to experts, natural catastrophes, climate change, and overpopulation are all putting the world’s biodiversity at danger.

As a consequence, they wish to maintain track of endangered species in case they perish from Earth.

A team of American scientists doing the study believes that the circumstances on the Moon are much superior than those on Earth for their goals.

They claim that a storage facility might be established on the Moon, where temperatures are significantly lower than on our world.

It would most likely be found in the Moon’s north or south poles, where deep craters are perpetually in shade and temperatures hover around -200°C.

They would then be able to securely preserve frozen animal cells for future use.

Cells are the building blocks of all life on our planet, including you. Each component of your body has billions of cells.

Almost all cells are too tiny to be seen without a microscope.
