Lapta Alsancak Municipality (LAÇ) once again demonstrated its support for the police force. The municipality purchased a service vehicle, which was donated to the Girne Police Department by Mayor Fırat Ataser.
During a ceremony held at the LAÇ Municipality, the vehicle was handed over to Deputy Girne Police Chief Aziz Nizamoğlu. At the ceremony, Nizamoğlu, who received the keys to the vehicle, presented a plaque of appreciation to Mayor Fırat Ataser for this generous donation.
In his speech, Mayor Ataser emphasized that despite the ever-growing and increasing population of the region, the police are striving to maintain order and safety effectively. He reaffirmed that the municipality would continue to provide all necessary support. Additionally, Ataser briefed Nizamoğlu on the activities of the soon-to-be-established Urban Security Unit.
