President Ersin Tatar, who attended the 8th Ordinary Congress of the Justice and Development Party (AKP), stated that the party, under the leadership of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, would continue to support the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) just as it has in the past.
President Ersin Tatar shared his thoughts on the Justice and Development Party’s (AKP) 8th Ordinary Congress with BRT.
He stressed that, as Turkish Cypriots, they admired and closely followed Türkiye’s progress, development, stability, and success in becoming an influential global power.
Tatar also expressed gratitude for the support given to the TRNC and the struggle of the Turkish Cypriot people, saying, “I want to once again express my appreciation for the enthusiasm I felt at the AKP’s 8th Ordinary Congress and the warm welcome extended to us.
