President Ersin Tatar has expressed his condolences to the people of Iran following the tragic death of the president and the foreign minister who lost their lives in a helicopter crash Sunday.
“On behalf of the Turkish Cypriot people and myself, our deepest condolences to the people of Iran for the loss of President Ebrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister Amir-Abdollahian and members of their delegation following yesterday’s tragic helicopter crash,” Tatar said in his message issued on Monday.
The president also said that the Turkish Cypriot people stood by the people of Iran during this difficult period.brt
