President Ersin Tatar received and held discussions with the delegation led by the President of the Mersin Entrepreneurs’ Businesspeople Association, Adem Yüksel Güngör.
Expressing his pleasure in welcoming the delegation, the President highlighted the significance of Mersin’s ties with the TRNC.
Pointing out that Mersin shared the same climate and geographical features as the TRNC, Tatar noted that trade was conducted with the country through Mersin.
He also stressed the importance they placed on further enhancing commercial relations with Mersin.
Referring to the value of mutual cooperation, the President noted that the TRNC continued to develop, with increasing investments, and that both the economy and higher education sectors were advancing.

He also provided information about the association, which serves various sectors such as trade, healthcare, and tourism, along with the companies within its structure.
