Tatlısu Natural Products Market was opened with a ceremony on Sunday.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Acting President Zorlu Töre drew attention to the great contributions the rural areas make to their household economy.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Tatlısu Mayor Hayri Orçan said that they aim to bring together the natural products produced in Tatlısu with the consumer and that the products produced by the people of the region through traditional methods will be offered for sale at markets.
He said that markets will be the meeting point of producers and consumers.
Acting President Zorlu Töre during his opening speech stated that the production in rural areas will make a great contribution to the home economy and strengthen the family structure.
Töre stated that the carob, which is the pearl of Tatlısu, should be supported with special incentives and emphasized that the work carried out by the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources in this direction is important.
He also referred to the actions taken by the Animal Husbandry Union in recent days and called for protests against the institutional structure of the state to be avoided.
Töre said that there are attempts to erode the state by using the problems as an excuse and that this is not the right approach.
Pointing out that on July 20, the resurrection of the Turkish Cypriot People will be celebrated, Töre reminded that a state was established on the geography drawn by the July 20 Peace Operation.
He emphasized that no one can speak against the TRNC and the July 20 Peace Operation.
The market where natural products meet with consumers will be open every Sunday.
