
Temperatures are expected to rise this week, that’s according to the weekly weather forecast covering July 22–28.
Temperatures in the inland areas are set to climb as high as 44 degrees Celsius.
The Meteorology Department reports that during July-22-28 forecast period, the region will generally be under the influence of a low-pressure system accompanied by hot and relatively humid air masses.
Today and tomorrow, the weather will be clear to partly cloudy, while the rest of the week is expected to remain mostly clear.
Between July 27–28, conditions are again forecast to be clear to partly cloudy.
The highest temperatures will range between 41–44 degrees inland areas and 34–37 degrees along the coast.
Winds will generally blow from the south and west at moderate strength, but may become strong at times on Wednesday.
