Organized by TUFAD, FOGEM, FOLKDER, the Youth Center Association, and HASDER under the auspices of the Nicosia Turkish Municipality (LTB) and with support from the Deputy Prime Ministry and the Ministry of Tourism, Culture, Youth, and Environment, the festival started with a parade last night.
It will continue until September 1st, with events taking place every evening at 8:30 PM at the Kızılbaş Park Cuma Mağusalı Amphitheater.
Teams from countries such as Bulgaria, Italy-Sicily, Macedonia, Mexico, Romania, and Turkey, who have come to participate in the festival, expressed their pleasure at being in Cyprus and thanked everyone involved in organizing the event.
Nicosia Turkish Municipality Mayor Mehmet Harmancı emphasized that such events not only promote a culture of peace and reconciliation but also add significant value to Nicosia
. He assured that their support for such initiatives will continue.
