According to the decision, individuals in risk groups – such as those over 65, those with lung, kidney, or neurological diseases, individuals using immunosuppressive medications for extended periods, diabetes patients, HIV patients, and children under the age of 5 – are required to get tested if they exhibit upper respiratory tract infections and consult their doctors promptly to receive treatment as soon as possible.
Among the committee’s decisions, it was stated that patients with upper respiratory complaints who are examined by their doctors should receive medical reports from their attending physicians if necessary.
