The Meteorological Department’s forecast dated March 1 shows that the low pressure system will combine with the cold and humid air mass and affect the region.
While air temperatures are expected to be within seasonal norms, the wind is expected to blow in moderate strength from the north and east.
The weather will be partly cloudy in general, with light showers in the eastern parts until noon, and will become less cloudy over time.
It was stated that temperatures in the inner parts may vary between 21 and 16 degrees, and especially in Nicosia, temperatures may hover around 19 degrees.
