According to the Meteorology Department’s weather forecast for April 14, a low pressure system will combine with a cool and humid air mass to affect the region.
Air temperatures are expected to be 4 and 6 degrees below seasonal norms, while winds are expected to blow from the north and east at medium strength, strong at times.
The weather will generally be slightly cloudy. Temperatures in the interior will range between 15 and 21 degrees, and especially in Lefkoşa, temperatures will hover around 20 degrees.
