President Ersin Tatar attended the opening ceremony of the Lapta Alsancak Çamlıbel (LAÇ) Municipality service building.
According to information provided by the Presidency, Tatar, in his speech at the ceremony, recalled that with the municipal reform, Lapta and Alsancak municipalities were merged, and stated that the Lapta Alsancak Çamlıbel Municipality is one of the largest, serving 20 villages.
President Tatar highlighted that with the new service building becoming operational, services would be provided in a more modern environment, enhancing the quality of service offered by employees and received by citizens.
Expressing that all available resources are being mobilized to provide more prosperity and happiness to citizens, President Ersin Tatar emphasized that efforts are ongoing to strengthen the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).
Tatar stressed the importance of using resources efficiently and creating added value to provide the best for the public, and wished success for the new building, which was established with the municipality’s own resources.
Drawing attention to the fact that agricultural activities in the region will increase with the water supplied from Turkey, Ersin Tatar pointed out that the Lapta, Alsancak, and Çamlıbel regions are among the most beautiful areas of the TRNC with their mountains, sea, and nature.
President Tatar, emphasizing that economic opportunities in the country are increasing, noted that prosperity is not measured solely by money, but also by cleanliness, quality, comfort, and social life. He stated that living in these regions is a privilege.
President Tatar also congratulated those who contributed to the realization of the municipality’s new service building.
