Acting President Zorlu Töre expressed his satisfaction with the support shown by all political parties in Türkiye towards the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).
During a meeting with Mehmet Tüm, a former Member of Parliament for the 25th and 26th terms and the Head of Overseas Organization for Türkiye’s Republican People’s Party (CHP), along with his delegation, Töre highlighted the unity among Turkish political parties on national issues.
He emphasized the importance of solidarity in matters of national significance.
Töre noted that the consensus among political parties in Turkey regarding the Cyprus issue and their supportive stance towards the TRNC was a source of happiness for them.
He stressed that the establishment of the TRNC was not easy and that the journey to the present day had been fraught with challenges.
The meeting underscored the enduring and unified support from Türkiye, which continues to play a crucial role in the stability and progress of Northern Cyprus.
