The graduation ceremony of Ankara Social Sciences University North Cyprus Campus was realized on Sunday and Acting President Zorlu Töre attended the ceremony.
Addressing the graduating students at the ceremony, Töre emphasized that Turkish Cypriots are a part of the Turkish Nation.
Referring to the massacre in Gaza, Töre said that the so-called civilized countries and circles remained silent in the face of such atrocity.
Noting that humanity is very ashamed of what has happened, but those who support this cruelty are not ashamed, Töre noted that brutality continues in the 21st century.
Stating that graduating students should not be fooled by imperialists and colonialists, Töre asked them to love their country and nation.
Stating that they want peace in Cyprus but will not compromise on the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), Töre said, “We will never compromise on our independence and sovereignty.”
