Northern Cyprus participated in the Arabian Travel Market Tourism Fair, the largest and most prestigious tourism fair in the Arab market, which began yesterday in Dubai. Speaking on the matter, Tourism Minister Fikri Ataoğlu stated, “This year, we aim to surpass the pre-pandemic figures.”
The Tourism Promotion and Marketing Department, affiliated with the Deputy Prime Ministry, Ministry of Tourism, Culture, Youth, and Environment, attended the Arabian Travel Market Tourism Fair, which commenced yesterday in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and will conclude on May 9th.
Our booth at the fair was visited by Onur Şaylan, the Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in Dubai, and Umut Koldaş, the Northern Cyprus representative in Abu Dhabi, who met with our staff and industry representatives.
Our ministry is represented at the fair by a team consisting of Mustafa Köprülü, Branch Manager of the Tourism Promotion and Marketing Department, staff members, tourism professionals, and industry representatives.
Arabian Travel Market has become a global event that has facilitated the growth of the travel and tourism industry over the past thirty years. It is a place where global travel and tourism visionaries come together in a world where travel transcends boundaries and business opportunities await. It is a platform where entertainment seamlessly blends with business, MICE, and luxury travel, and where global leaders begin to feel the future.
We are participating in the fair to connect our tourism professionals with the Arab market, which contributes to our country’s tourism, and to promote our country. This year, we are conducting promotions with a 70 m² stand.
In addition to our promotional publications distributed to visitors to our stand, we are also offering samples of our country’s unique foods and complimentary coffee.
