The Turkish Ambassador to Lefkoşa Yasin Ekrem Serim paid a visit to the Gazimağusa region on Tuesday.
He first visited the Turkish Consulate in Gazimağusa and then met with mukhtars.
During his visits the Turkish Ambassador to Lefkoşa Serin said that he wanted to come together with people from all walks of life and emphasized that he would try and provide support in every issued needed.
The Turkish Ambassador to Lefkoşa Yasin Ekrem Serim met with mukhtar’s from the Gazimağusa region and listed to their problems.
The President of the Gazimağusa Mukhtar’s Association and Mukhtar of the İncirli Village Mustafa Yeşilleme expressed his pleasure at the visit and said, “We are wholeheartedly loyal to the motherland and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan” and wished Ambassador Serim success in his duty.
Türkiye’s Ambassador to Lefkoşa Yasin Ekrem Serim for his part stated that received education and lived in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) for a while, and that god permitted him to now come back as serve as the 16th Ambassador.
Explaining that he will do his best in order to achieve a brighter future for the TRNC, Serim said that he started working on what should be done as soon as he took office.
Noting that Gazimağusa is an important city, the Ambassador pointed out that consulate general services are now provided in the city.
The Ambassador also gave information about the infrastructure, investment and support funds to be made in the region.
Turkish Ambassador to Lefkoşa Serim also visited the Gazimağusa Consulate General and met with Gazimağusa Consul General İlyas Çetin.brt
