The newly appointed Turkish Ambassador to Lefkoşa Yasin Ekrem Serim met with former President Mehmet Ali Talat on Tuesday as part of his courtesy visits to state and government officials in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).
During the meeting, discussions focused on the TRNC-Türkiye relations and regional issues.
The importance of maintaining strong ties with Türkiye and measures to alleviate the international isolation of the TRNC was also addressed.
The former president wished Ambassador Serim success in his role.
