Türkiye-Azerbaijan, Türkiye-TRNC and Azerbaijan-TRNC Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Groups are visiting the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).
The delegations, which arrived on Sunday night, will hold a variety of contacts until Thursday 16th of May.
Chairman of the Azerbaijan – TRNC Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group Javanşir Feyziyev, Chairman of the Türkiye – Azerbaijan Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group Şamil Ayrım, Chairman of the Türkiye – TRNC Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group Orhan Erdem and Chairman of the Azerbaijan – Türkiye Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group Ehliman Emiraslanov and their accompanying delegations will hold meetings, make visits and attend openings in the country until Thursday, May 16.
The delegations embarked on their contacts in the TRNC with a visit to the tombs of Turkish Cypriot leader Dr. Fazıl Küçük and Founding President R. Rauf Denktaş.
The delegations will be received by President Ersin Tatar, Speaker of the Republic’s Assembly Zorlu Töre, Prime Minister Ünal Üstel and Foreign Minister Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu respectively.
A working meeting between the Presidents and delegations of the Türkiye – Azerbaijan – TRNC Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Groups will be held at the Republic’s Assembly this afternoon.
The delegations will also attend the Azerbaijan Cultural Center Opening and Seminar Program in Lapta on May 15.
