The “Resolution Proposal on a Two-State Solution to the Cyprus issue” is being taken up by the Committee on Legal, Political Affairs, Foreign Relations and Defence.
According to a statement from the Parliament, the committee convened at 10:30am
The committee is chaired by National Unity Party (UBP) MP Yasemi Öztürk, with Republican Turkish Party (CTP) MP Ongun Talat serving as Vice Chair.
Other members include UBP MPs Hasan Küçük and Hasan Taçoy, and CTP MP Ürün Solyalı.
The “Resolution Proposal on a Two-State Solution to the Cyprus Issue,” on the committee’s agenda, was submitted by several MPs from the UBP Group, Democrat Party (DP) MPs, Rebirth Party (YDP) Leader Erhan Arıklı, and Lefkoşa Independent MP Hasan Tosunoğlu.
