Prime Minister Ünal Üstel has strongly condemned the remarks made by the President and Foreign Minister of Israel regarding Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
Üstel also underlined that the Turkish Cypriot people stand by the Turkish nation, of which it is an integral part, everywhere and under all circumstances.
Prime Minister Ünal Üstel voiced his condemnation of the recent remarks made both by the President and Foreign Minister of Israel against Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan who has always been a strong supporter of the Turkish Cypriot people.
Stating that the tactless insults of a mentality that kills children in Gaza without hesitation, clearly shows what kind of mentality you are faced with, Üstel said, “The threats of those who think it is a virtue to shed the blood of innocent civilians without hesitation can never frighten the Turkish Nation.”
Making a statement via his social media account, Prime Minister Üstel emphasized that the efforts to make the President of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who stands against wars all over the world, calls for peace and is the voice of the oppressed, look different from what he is, are futile.
“Once again, I would like to clearly emphasize that the Turkish Cypriot people stand by the Turkish nation everywhere and under all circumstances, as it has always been” wrote Üstel.
