The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a yellow warning for Monday as the temperature is expected to rise to 40 C inland. The yellow warning will be in effect from 12.30 pm till 3.30 pm.
Specifically, the temperature will rise to 40 C inland, around 35 on southern and eastern coasts, 33 C in western and northern coastal areas, and 31 C in the mountains.
