
Sıla Usar İncirli has been elected the new leader of the Republican Turkish Party (CTP) following the party’s extraordinary congress held on Sunday.
Voting closed at 8:00 PM, with a total of 2,441 party members casting ballots.
According to the official results, İncirli secured a clear victory with 1,284 votes, representing 52.6% of the total. She was followed by Erkut Şahali, who received 801 votes (32.81%), and Asım Akansoy with 356 votes (14.58%).
İncirli now becomes the new head of the CTP as the party prepares for its next political steps under her leadership.
