A 49-year-old man is expected to appear before the Limassol District Court on Monday after his arrest in connection with shootings in a residential area in the early hours of Sunday morning.
According to police, testimony had been obtained against the Limassol resident for the shooting which happened in the Ayios Nikolaos area.
A 52-year-old home owner alerted police after a person whose face was obscured with a hood approached the residence and fired a number of shots with a pistol before fleeing. The crime was captured on CCTV.
The shots hit the window of a storage room on the north side of the residence. (cyprus mail)
