US Ambassador in Nicosia, Julie Davis expressed on Monday evening the hope that an informal meeting on Cyprus in a broader format which takes place in Geneva can pave the way for a resumption of negotiations leading to a comprehensive settlement in line with UN Security Council resolutions.
“Welcome discussions underway in Geneva & hope this effort can pave the way for a resumption of negotiations leading to a comprehensive settlement of the Cyprus Issue in line with UN Security Council resolutions on the basis of a bizonal, bicommunal federation with political equality,” Davis wrote on platform X.
