Report cards will be distributed today in primary and secondary schools as the 2024–2025 academic year comes to an end.
The 2024–2025 academic year, which began on September 23, 2024, came to an end.
Approximately 58,000 students attending primary and secondary schools received their report cards and completion certificates on Monday before starting their summer break.
After about three months of vacation, students and teachers will return to school on Monday, September 15, to begin the 2025–2026 academic year.
Make-up and responsibility exams for secondary education will be held between June 17 and 20.
Approximately 28,000 students study at 132 schools under the Primary Education Department, around 25,000 students attend 49 schools under the General Secondary Education Department, and about 4,000 vocational high school students are enrolled in 13 schools under the Vocational and Technical Education Department.
Additionally, approximately 700 students receive education at Apprenticeship and Adult Education Centres.
