Erhürman “TC people did not ght their struggle for existence to relinquish their rights”

The leader of the Republican Turkish Party (CTP) Tufan Erhürman answered questions on a Web TV program.
According to a statement from the CTP Press Bureau, Erhürman stressed the principle of “governing together” with competent and qualied individuals who care about the country’s challenges.
Erhürman noted that early elections were beginning to be discussed and underlined the urgent need to begin working together with all competent people, given the country’s current situation.
Referring to the Social Democratic Party’s (TDP) Assembly decision regarding the presidential election, Erhürman expressed his gratitude and said, “This is about more than just who will be president. We are
obliged to include the society’s educated and competent individuals in governance processes. We have a commitment to govern with capablen people who care deeply about this country. This is not only a matter of
left-wing unity; it is a much broader demand for collective governance.”
He also stressed that the Turkish Cypriot people did not ght their struggle for existence to relinquish their rights and touched on the Cyprus issue:
“The model we advocate in the Cyprus issue is a federation based on two equal constituent states, two zones, two communities, and politica equality. I am well-versed in the Cyprus dossier and I move forward with a le prepared together with the capable individuals of this country.
There is only one path: dialogue and diplomacy” CTP leader Erhürman said.
