A new village headman’s office and multi-purpose hall have been established in Ilgaz Village
With the initiatives of the Lapta Alsancak Çamlıbel Municipality (LAÇ), the Village Headman’s Service Building and Multi-Purpose Hall in Ilgaz Village has been completed and officially opened with a ceremony.
The opening ceremony, held on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, was attended by President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Ersin Tatar, Girne District Governor Revin Gürler, Head of the Union of Mukhtars Akay Darbaz, local headmen, LAÇ Mayor Fırat Ataser, municipal council members, and residents.
In speeches delivered during the event, officials emphasized that the new service building and hall would serve as an important social space for the local community.
LAÇ Municipality expressed gratitude to President Tatar, Governor Gürler, and all guests for their participation and support, and extended its best wishes for the new facility to benefit the people of Ilgaz.
