Independent MPs Ayşegül Baybars and Jale Refik Rogers, along with former MP Gülşah Sanver Manavoğlu, announced their support for the Republican Turkish Party (CTP) leader Tufan Erhürman in the upcoming presidential election.
In their joint statement, they stressed that the election was a historic crossroads for the people, not merely a choice between individuals or parties.
They also addressed the Cyprus issue and the property crisis caused by the Greek Cypriot leadership, stating: “We openly and sincerely declare our support for Mr. Tufan Erhürman in the presidential elections.”
