The 33rd World Food Istanbul International Food and Technologies Fair has opened its doors in Istanbul, with 17 producers from the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) taking part.
Organized jointly by the Cyprus Turkish Chamber of Industry and the Ministry of Economy and Energy, the TRNC is represented at the World Food Istanbul Fair by 17 local producers.
The fair is open to visitors at the TÜYAP Exhibition Centre until Friday, September 5. TRNC stands are located in Hall 12, where product presentations and tasting events are being held.
With the support of Türkiye’s Ministry of Trade and the Turkish Exporters Assembly, the TRNC has secured stand and exhibition space for its producers.
Throughout the event, visitors will be able to sample and explore a wide range of Cypriot products including paste, molasses, pickles, lemonade, dairy products, tahini, coffee, olives and olive oil, Turkish delights and confectionery, frozen goods, bakery products, and citrus fruits.
The Cyprus Turkish Chamber of Industry and the Ministry of Economy and Energy are also hosting their own stand, where officials will meet with producers and business representatives.
Celebrating its 33rd year, World Food Istanbul remains a global meeting point for food and beverage producers and leading buyers, providing a platform for international companies to discover Türkiye’s food sector, establish business connections, and introduce their products to new markets.
