According to the Meteorological Department’s weather forecast report for Monday, December 1, the region is expected to be under the influence of a low-pressure system along with a cool and humid air mass in the upper atmosphere.
Air temperatures are expected to remain 4 to 6 degrees above seasonal norms, and winds are forecast to blow from the north and west at moderate strength, becoming locally strong during rainfall.
Today, the weather is expected to be partly cloudy, with occasional light showers until noon, gradually becoming less cloudy over time.
The highest temperatures will generally range between 19–24°C in inland areas and along the coasts.
In the capital, Nicosia, the temperature will be around 22°C.
