Lapta Alsancak Çamlıbel Municipality issued a statement on its official social media account to alert local residents. According to the announcement, blasting operations will take place on Monday, September 22, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. as part of the excavation works for a new drinking water well.
The municipality stated that, due to the blasting, the areas marked on the map as well as the mountain roads will be closed to both vehicular and pedestrian traffic. Citizens were urged to strictly follow the instructions of the municipal police officers who will be on duty in the area for safety purposes.
Officials emphasized that all necessary safety measures have been taken to ensure the work is carried out securely and expressed their gratitude to the public for their understanding and cooperation.
