Temperature expected to reach 43 degrees on Wednesday, as heatwave hits Cyprus

The maximum temperature is expected to rise to around 43 degrees Celsius over the inland areas on Wednesday. The Department of Meteorology has issued an orange extreme maximum temperature warning which will be valid from 1200 until 1700.

According to the warning, the maximum temperature is expected to rise to around 43 degrees Celsius over the inland areas and to around 34 degrees Celsius over the higher mountainous areas.
