The Meteorological Department’s forecast dated January 25 shows that the low pressure system will combine with the cool and humid air mass and affect the region.
While air temperatures are expected to be 2 to 3 degrees above seasonal norms, the wind is expected to blow in moderate strength from the north and east directions, and to blow strongly during rain.
The weather is generally very cloudy, with showers in the afternoon, and while the temperature in the inland areas may vary between 14 and 19 degrees, the temperature will be around 17 degrees, especially in Nicosia.
