Police are monitoring road conditions in the Troodos mountains continuously to ensure safe travel for motorists.
In a post on X, police announced that all roads leading to Troodos are currently open. However, only four-wheel drive vehicles or those equipped with snow chains are permitted to use these routes.
The police urged drivers to exercise extra caution, adjust their driving to weather conditions, and comply with authorities’ instructions to prevent accidents.
The announcement was accompanied by video footage showing snow-covered roads in the Troodos region.
