According to the Meteorology Department’s weather forecast report for Tuesday, September 9, the region is expected to be under the influence of a low-pressure system along with a cool and humid air mass in the upper atmosphere.
Air temperatures are expected to remain around seasonal norms, while winds will blow moderately from the south and west directions, occasionally becoming strong.
Today, the weather is expected to be mostly clear, partly cloudy around noon, with scattered showers or thunderstorms in some areas.
The highest air temperatures in inland and coastal areas will generally range between 28–35°C.
In the capital Nicosia, temperatures will be around 35°C.
