The cost of living for the month of April has been announced.
According to the Statistics Institute, the inflation rate for April was recorded at 4.06%.
The Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased by 13.08% compared to December of the previous year.
Compared to the previous month, average prices rose in 455 items covered by the index, while prices dropped in 71 items.
Among the main expenditure groups, the highest monthly increase was seen in the “restaurants and hotels” category, with a rise of 9.51%.
