The Department of Highways has announced that several roads in the area where the Nicosia Northern Ring Road interchange connects with the Alayköy link and intersects the Gönyeli-Boğaz road have been closed off, becoming dead ends.
In a public statement, the department provided detailed maps, highlighting the affected roads in red and confirming their closure.
The statement also noted that access from the Gönyeli-Boğaz road will now be redirected through newly constructed junctions 1, 2, and 3, shown in green on the map.
Additionally, the department emphasized that work is ongoing to install road signs and markings, including both horizontal and vertical traffic signals.
Drivers are urged to exercise caution while traveling through the area, to drive slowly, and to carefully follow all traffic signs and signals for their own safety and that of others.
