The Nicosia Marathon, organized by the Nicosia Turkish Municipality (LTB) with Kahve Dünyası as main sponsor and in cooperation with the Athletics Federation, will be held on Sunday, October 12.
This year’s marathon, run under the slogan “Our Most Special Step,” will donate all proceeds to the construction of a sports complex for the Barrier-Free Living House and Rehabilitation Center.
The Kahve Dünyası Nicosia Marathon will feature several categories: a 21 km run, a 10 km run, a 4 km public run, and a Children’s Run for ages 6–12.
Race Schedule
• 21 km: 7:00 a.m.
• 10 km: 7:30 a.m.
• Children’s Run: 9:40 a.m.
• 4 km Public Run: 10:30 a.m.
Registration Details
Registration opens Monday, September 29, and continues until October 11. Runners can register in front of the municipal building (weekdays 8:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m., Saturdays 9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.) or online at www.lefkosamaratonu.com.
• Children’s Run: Free (ages 6–12)
• 4 km Public Run: 250 TL
• 10 km Run: 1,750 TL
• 21 km Run: 2,250 TL

The Children’s Run, introduced last year, will once again give young runners the chance to take part in the marathon experience.
