The Meteorology Department’s March 17, forecast shows that a high pressure system will combine with a cool and humid air mass to affect the region.
Air temperatures are expected to be 9 to 11 degrees above seasonal norms and winds are expected to blow from the south and west at moderate strength.
The weather will generally be partly cloudy, and temperatures in the interior may vary between 23 and 31 degrees, while temperatures in Nicosia in particular may hover around 31 degrees.
