The Minister of Labour and Social Security Sadık Gardiyanoğlu visited workplaces that regularly make social security investments and congratulated the employees on the 1st of May Labour Day.
Speaking during his visits the Minister of Labour and Social Security Sadık Gardiyanoğlu emphasized that the overtime payment of the employees of workplaces that are open on May 1st should be paid two-for-one and called on the workplaces to fulfil their legal obligations.
Stating that inspections were carried out by the inspectors of the Social Insurance and Provident Fund Department in six districts, Gardiyanoğlu said that the overtime of the employees working on May 1 will be checked by the inspectors of the Department after June 20 and that the necessary measures will be taken if the law is not abided by.
